Our PTO is a vital part of the school community. We strive to bring parents, teachers and administrators together to lift our student’s educational experience higher. Through our community we fund after school clubs, cultural and holiday events, teacher appreciation, and class celebrations.
We can only accomplish this with your help, so please join today and become involved.

IB + Dual Language
We proudly offer International Baccalaureate (IB) and Dual Language curriculums to our students.
An IB education emphasizes higher-level thinking, teaching children through the inquiry method of learning, authentic “real world” teaching and developing students into well-rounded global citizens.

Woodlawn Academy
Woodlawn Academy is a community-centered school that believes in teaching the whole child. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports and clubs, in addition to a student-centered instructional approach that promotes inquiry and concept-based learning. We provide students with a unique education through the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.

PTO Mission
To enhance the students primary and middle school educational years to include a full school experience; a thriving education tied to extracurricular activities that provide avenues where our students can explore the world and their interests. Woodlawn Academy's PTO strives to support our hardworking teachers and staff monetarily and socially via fundraising, events and student experiences.
​
Each year we offer at least one Big Kahuna fundraiser and Woodlawn Spirit Gear: t-shirts, yard signs, and stickers to help us fund clubs and social events. Last year we excitedly launched our Club Program, we were able to offer a variety of after school clubs to our students! They enjoyed garden, zoo, yearbook, cheer/pep squad, and more!

We organize community events tied to our IB Curriculum for our families to enjoy, where we fund and organize along side staff to present a Talent Show, Dances, and a Rummage Sale. While, also, helping fund 5th and 8th Grade Promotion events and IB Exhibition projects to assist our parent volunteers, teachers and students.
Other events we host for our staff are during Teacher Appreciation Week. Some of the previous events we have hosted or helped fund were the Fall Festival, Staff Thanksgiving Luncheon, and Santa Photos.
