Woodlawn Academy is a Kindergarten through 8th Grade academic academy; offering an IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme, and a Dual Language Program. We are proud to share we are also an SAISD Kindness Certified School.
WOODLAWN ACADEMY HISTORY
Woodlawn Academy has a long and illustrious history of outstanding education dating back to 1924. The classrooms at Woodlawn have grown politicians, writers, doctors, Ivy League graduates and many of the top students in the city. At Woodlawn, students not only focus on academic pursuits but are constantly engaged in the art of becoming better people. It is essential that all students build the foundation for a strong academic career that will last throughout their lifetime.
